Lady - unfinished
Name: Lady
Livery Type: Rehabilitation
Arrival Date: August 2019

Age: 18
Breed: Thoroughbred
Height: 15.2hh
Medical Issues: Sub-clinical Laminitis and grass affected

Rehabilitation: Hoof rehabilitation, grass affected
Lady joined us on the 5th of August 2019 with sub clinical Laminitis and was also badly grass affected. Her sensitivity to grass showed in her erratic and extreme behaviour, twitching when touched and the splits and cracks in her feet. She was also overweight upon arrival with fat pads.

After detoxing off the grass and any unnessarcy sugars after approximately 4-6 weeks, Lady became a very easy horse to handle in every way - grooming, catching, being checked over and having her feet trimmed. She truly flourished off the grass and on track, becoming a horse that loved spending time with her herd members and the staff members of PB. She soon influenced her herd members to move more, and became a friend to both mare and gelding with no issues.

Lady did arrive with sub-clinical Laminitis and needed a lot of work and attention on her feet.
