About the event
A track system provides an environment that caters to a horse's fundamental daily needs such as 24/7 turnout, herd living or companionship and a species appropriate diet. With an array of common equine conditions linked to diet and management such as Laminitis, ulcers, EMS, obesity and more, keeping horses on a track system provides an alternative way of rehabilitating or managing horses with ongoing problems. Better yet, a track system provides countless benefits that every horse will better from in some way or another, even those without medical conditions. Be your horse retired, ridden or in need of some rehab, a track system not only fulfils your horse's needs but also often reliefs owners of the constant stress that comes with battling grass, individual turnout or long hours of stabling.Â
If you're interested in setting up a track system for your horse but don't know where to start, this course is perfect for you. Our 5 week online, interactive course is designed to inform, support and advise you on setting up a track system that will function properly for your horse and encourage the positive improvements that you hope to see. We will also be providing attendees with the opportunity to implement each week's topic or task into their horse's management, care or land, step by step with our guidance and support.
This course is suitable for those of you on rented land or livery yards, those who cannot surface due to funds or those of you with small or larger areas of land.
The course will start on Monday 15th of January 2024 at 7pm GMT and will then continue to take place every Monday at 7pm GMT for 5 weeks until the 12th of February 2024.

We're offering a unique oppurnity for horse owners to share their questions or struggles in a judgement-free space whilst being presented with the information and knowledge that we use to run a successful Paddock Paradise (track system) livery.
We have 15 years of experience running track systems for both of our own horses and on a livery yard scale, and additionally specialise in the rehabilitation of horses with Laminitis and EMS. Our main tracks are non-surfaced due to being in a protected area but we do have experience setting up a track system for both a small amount of horses and herds up to 15, with anxiety or medical conditions, in a woodland or over undulating and hilly land.Â
IMPORTANT: Once your space has been secured with full payment, you will be sent some additional information leading up to your first meeting with us. Please note we will not be offering refunds. Although recordings will be available after each meeting, this course is interactive and attendees will largely benefit from attending each meeting live. This isn't suitable if you cannot partake in any live meetings during the entirety of the course.
Disclaimer: We are in no way an equine veterinarian, hoof care professional or nutritionist. The information and advice given is from our own personal experiences and rehabilitation work. All attendees will be required to sign a disclaimer form.
