Park & Ride

Service Description

Located in Newport, Shropshire, our Park and Ride service is £15 per horse for a 3 hour time slot. Once you have parked, you then have the choice between riding around our various fields on the farm, or you can take advantage of the bridle path that runs directly off the farm, leading to small villages, woodland trails and quiet country roads. The bridle path itself runs from Newport to Stafford and through Gnosall, where you can stop at the local chip shop or pub. The fields onsite available for riding depend on the weather so they may be rotated. In the warmer months, we will have more fields to choose from but whilst we are still having plenty of rain, there will be some areas closed off. You will be provided with a map of the local hacking routes and a map of the farm upon arrival. If you choose to take advantage of the local hacking routes, riders will initially need to travel down a public bridle path which will then go on to provide other adventurous routes to explore. Riding on any roads is completely optional and can be avoided if preferred but please note you will encounter cyclists, walkers and dogs on the public bridle path which cannot be avoided. There is a maximum of 4 trailer or lorry parking spots per time slot. When booking, you will need to select the number of trailer or lorry parking spaces you require with the amount of horses you wish to bring. For example, if you only need 1 trailer or lorry spot but are bringing 2 horses, then you will need to select '1 parking spot & 2 horses'.
